Mesoamerican people have a very interesting story about the view of the universe. On this occasion Alma’s LDS Tours would like to provide  some details about one of the most important rituals of ancient America, The New Fire ceremony.

The history of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Hawaii, begins in the year 1850, after the publication of an edict granting rights of worship in the islands. The first missionaries numbered nine members who organize the voyage after they moved from the city of San Francisco on board Imaum of Muscat. Their gospel work began immediately on the islands Kauai, Lahaina, Maui, The Big Island-name that was known as the Island of Hawaii and Honolulu.

The beginning of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Brazil occurred in 1923, with the migration of the German family Zapf Ipoméia to the region, Santa Catarina. Later, the Zapf, along with the couple Lippelt also from Germany, wrote to the First Presidency requesting that they send missionaries and support materials to spread the word of God the more families of German origin. The first Mormon missionaries who answered the call of missionary work came from Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The Mayan culture holds many mysteries, some say in summary that in his legacy included the Maya doomsday prediction, but others suggest the possibility of a spiritual rebirth of mankind.
