Mormon Christmas | LDS Tours in Cancun
The holidays have a special meaning in each and every one of the cultures in the world. Depending on your religious beliefs, people celebrate the Posadas, Christmas and the end of the year. Each home is decorated with Christmas trees, nativity sets, gifts and good food. However, we often forget to understand the real meaning of this time. Alma’s LDS Tours invites you to lear how SUD families commemorate Christmas.
Our church’s Christmas celebration is another opportunity to grow spiritually and become closer to the Lord. Most activities in this special day are aimed at bringing families together and reflect on the birth and divinity of our Savior Jesus Christ.
Although each person is free to give as many presents as they wan in this holiday, it is customary in our homes do so in moderation, with the intention of avoiding materialism and not losing sight of the true Christmas spirit and alter its true purpose. In church offerings are made to charities to help the underpriviliged.
The most important thing now is to think about the real meaning of Christmas and to pray for the birth and sacrifice of the Son of God, an event that allowed him to conclude the infinite and eternal atonement for the sins of men on earth
As we reflect on an issue as important and special, Alma’s LDS Tours invites you to visit Mexico and the Riviera Maya, Playa del Carmen and Cancun. Contact us and learn from experts in the Book of Mormon lands and the places Christ visited in America. We will be happy to be part of this great learning experience and provide quality service.
